Hey There, Baltimore:

Over the past year, we've seen more evidence of the degree to which design is a common denominator in the Baltimore experience. Whether it's the seemingly unconnected: the reintroduction of the label "Baltimore" to the road jerseys of the Baltimore Orioles to thoughts about an event like The Hatch Show Print or Barton Gillet which brought out our legends for a day of reminiscing and thinking about where design is going. As a part of that mix, AIGA Baltimore is hoping to help stir the drink which is design thinking and appreciation in Baltimore and here we launch our latest effort to do that: The AIGA Baltimore Blog...

Thinking and design are closely intertwined as much as any profession.
And, nowadays, with nearly every product or service seeming like it could be considered a commodity, real thinking behind design is even more important than ever. So, we look forward to providing more ways to get connected to all of that, so whether it's pointing you to the words of colleagues in other blogs or interviews, talking to people around the craft, commenting on what's going, we'll be looking to do that here. Hopefully, we can get you thinking, because you certainly have us thinking.
